AH WELLS. so something happened in school this week... decided to compose a poem since i'm oh-so-sentimental about certain things.
i was walking with my friend
when along you came with yours
slowing a little, you turned
i smiled, and then i paused
a smile spread on your face
your eyes lit in recognition
i opened my mouth to speak
then i realised it was not i who was the object of your attention
you spoke, a tinkly voice i found unfamiliar
greeting my friend on my right
you seemed not to see me
even though i was just at her side
ending your conversation, you turned to go
wriggling your fingers, you exchanged goodbyes
i tried to find my voice, but it wouldn't come
i could do nothing but let out a little sigh
to you i was invisible
or has 7 years erased all your memories?
i now realise how much i cherish them
and the friends i used to miss
you don't know me anymore
neither do i see you in the same light
i wonder what happened to make you forget
when we used to be so tight
i guess even though you don't remember me
i'll still look back fondly on the times we shared
the fun, laughter, letters, even the quarrels
i won't forget, my first best friend.
the first time i'd seen her since we graduated. excellent.

it has a floor to ceiling window which covers one entire length of the room, so i've got a fantastic view of the scenery outside. i don't even need to switch on any lights cos the light is streaming in from outside.
just me, myself and this wonderful gsr blasting hillsongs.
don't know if i'm doing things right, whether things are going in the right direction...
it's crazyyyy!
bgs hypo is seriously freaking me out. ra hasn't been super helpful with comments... we being newbies aren't really sure what's going on... and conversations with friends have made me realise while we aren't really behind, we aren't exactly ahead either. suddenly our project has to include our own original contribution?? what if we discover that our hypo can't be supported and we have to revise it again??
huuuuuuuge mess.
bgs hypo n sub hypos in a mess... haven't even started on proposal. due week 7. then after proposal there's so much more. just the tip of the iceberg.
ct project this weekend.. oh well at least my grpmates are a great bunch. presentation week 7!
ct essay due week 7...
mid terms all in week 7
think bgs is taking up a huge portion of this load. haiys. i hate having to be the initiator. i'm tired of facing silent, blur faces.
where are we going with all this?!?!?!?!?
there must be more than this... why am i falling back to what it was again.
just a very............ rant-y post. don't mind me.
SIGH.
shall go back to research. hopefully i'll find sth tt convinces me and us and the ra that our sub hypos can be tested. hopefully i'll get my questions answered.
we can always hope, can't we?

i have FINALLY finished stats. part 1 of assignment 1 was a total NIGHTMARE. r software, keying all the numbers to construct boxplots, ogives, bar charts, polygons... standard deviations! ohmyword. you won't believe the sample size of the raw data. thank God daddy came to check out what i was doing and lent me a HUGE hand in computing the data cos obviously my excel knowledge is rather lacking. was rather sheepish by the time he'd showed me how to formulate everything. and quite amazed that my dad knew all those things! rahaha. feel like collapsing on the bed now but there's still a mountain of assignments to do.. plus gtg down to sch just to submit the hw. well at least i managed to grab abt 4plus hours of sleep. but no matter. i'm just so relieved i'm done with stats! for now that is, till the next load comes. thank You, Lord, that i'm still surviving. i'm not dozing off yet! :) k, back to work.
